Termalin lets people reach their own servers from a browser or a chat assistant. When a server is reached without a Termalin Connector, the connection leaves from one of our addresses — so if you saw unwanted traffic from us, this is the place. Write to abuse@termal.in or use the form below.

What we log, and for how long

Every outbound connection our servers make on a user's behalf is logged: the account, the target address and port, the protocol, the client's address and country, whether it succeeded, and the time. The log is kept for 180 days and exists only for this purpose. Session content — what was typed and what the remote system answered — is not recorded; terminal recordings a user keeps are encrypted on their device and unreadable to us.

Our terms allow access only to systems the user is authorised to access. Scanning, probing or attacking systems the user doesn't own or lack written permission to test is a breach, and we suspend accounts for it.

What happens with a report

  1. The moment the form is sent, our connection log is searched for your address in the window you give. You get a receipt by email with a reference.
  2. A person reviews the report. If the connections came through Termalin, the account's outbound access is paused and the account is suspended if the breach is clear. If nothing in our log matches, we tell you that, so you can look elsewhere.
  3. We reply to the address you give, usually within one business day. We don't hand out the identity of a user to a reporter; law-enforcement requests go to abuse@termal.in with the usual paperwork.

Report a target address

Times are matched in UTC. One report per address per hour from the same email.
