Is my data really private?
Yes. Your vault is encrypted on your device with a key derived from your master password before anything is synced. We store only encrypted blobs — we can't reset your master password, though you can set an optional recovery code as your own backstop. Keep both safe. More on security →
What does the free plan actually include?
The whole desktop app: SSH, SFTP with a built-in editor, a database client, RDP and VNC desktops opened directly from the app, the live status bar, session recording & replay, the watch grid, and the MCP agent. No plan limits the number of hosts, keys or devices. Paid plans add the encrypted cloud — sync, the web cabinet, Connectors, monitoring, encrypted backups of your Linux, Windows and macOS servers, remote desktops in the browser and through Connectors, internal web apps reached without port forwarding, cloud storage for recordings and backups, and the AI assistant's monthly allowance — plus team features.
Can I switch or cancel any time?
Yes. Plans are month-to-month or discounted yearly. You keep everything you created locally even without a subscription — the app works fully offline.
What's the "agent" everyone's talking about?
Termalin ships an MCP server, so an AI agent can open its own SSH sessions or step into yours — without ever holding your keys. You watch every move in the grid, and each agent action is marked in the recording. The local MCP server comes with the free desktop app; on Pro and Team, ChatGPT, Claude and other AI apps can also reach your servers through Connectors via the hosted MCP endpoint, with no app running.
