Royal TS is a Windows app, macOS means the separate Royal TSX, and Linux desktops are out of luck. Built for your agents, not just for you.

Termalin ships a real MCP server in two forms. A hosted endpoint lets Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex and Cursor sign in and reach the hosts you choose keylessly — through an outbound Connector, with per-connection command rules and an audit log. The in-app MCP lets an agent open its own sessions or step into yours, while a key custodian signs on its behalf, so it never holds a key — you watch every move in the grid, and each agent action is marked in the recording. A handful of remote-management tools now speak MCP — the SSH clients Conduit and XPipe both bundle a local one. Termalin's hosted endpoint at termal.in/mcp is listed in the ChatGPT and Claude connector directories and the official MCP Registry, and reaches your servers keylessly under per-connection command rules — full access, an allowlist, or read-only.

04  /  switching — honestly

Moving over, and what Royal TS still does better.

Termalin imports hosts from an ~/.ssh/config, a CSV, PuTTY or MobaXterm — get your hosts into any of those formats and they come across in a click. Export back to an SSH config or CSV any time: no lock-in, either direction. The honest trade-off: Royal TS is a remote-management suite, not just a terminal. Termalin opens RDP and VNC desktops in a tab now, but Royal TS goes much further for Windows-fleet RDP — RD Gateway, multi-monitor, deep credential management around Royal Server and a longer protocol list; Termalin has no RD Gateway, no Kerberos and no multi-monitor. If managing Windows fleets over RDP is the core of your day, Royal TS may keep a place next to Termalin — Termalin's case is a faster SSH terminal that now also does RDP, with encrypted sync, Linux support and agents.
